Inspired by Frank Bidard’s “I CARE IF I AM GUILTY” What is wrongdoing but the conscience of others? Why can human beings not agree on its definition; Why must it be left vague? If I ask what is wrongdoing, you will tell me dishonest If I ask what is dishonest, will you tell me misleading? If misleading and lying are synonyms, what is lying but wrongdoing? Or would that be my conscience talking Who decides when the time to break the cycle comes around? A being can be guilty in one eye and innocent in another One can care if they are guilty and one can not. And who it is up to break ties is determined by factors Same factors which depend on one’s wrongdoings Therefore the cycle does not come around It goes endlessly, because that is the point of humanity Righteousness will not be seen and injustice will lead Oliver Addams (pen name) is a fifteen years old aspiring poet from Canada.
